Having trained at Davies Arnold Cooper, Vashti then worked at Capsticks Solicitors and Browne Jacobson LLP before joining Beale and Company in 2009.
Vashti's main specialism is defending claims against solicitors, accountants, surveyors and other professionals. She has acted for solicitors in connection with a wide range of areas, including residential and commercial conveyancing, taxation and pensions advice. These vary from small fee claims to high value, multiparty disputes.
Vashti has also advised accountants on complex tax issues including VAT, options to tax, and overseas discretionary trusts. In addition, she advises insurers and brokers on policy interpretations and coverage issues.
Vashti has given seminars to insurers on understanding key issues involved in claims against accountants.
