Jo obtained a degree in history from Exeter University in 2000. She went on to complete the CPE and LPC at the College of Law in London before joining Beale and Company in 2004.
Since joining Beale and Company, Jo has advised on a number of construction and engineering related disputes and been involved in health and safety prosecutions. She has represented engineers, architects, surveyors and contractors as well as professional indemnity insurers. Jo has also advised on insurance broker and solicitor negligence claims. She has experience in both small and high value complex litigation as well as mediations and in particular in bringing high value fee claim adjudications and defending professional negligence adjudications including a multi million pound double adjudication arising out of a high profile PFI project.
