James graduated from Birmingham University in 2000 with a degree in Medieval and Modern History. On completion of the LPC (pass with distinction) at the College of Law, Guildford he joined Beale and Company in 2003, qualifying in 2005.
During his time at Beale and Company James has advised architects, engineers, contractors, surveyors, and their professional indemnity insurers, in relation to a wide range of matters ranging from small fee claims to high profile construction and engineering actions both in the UK and Ireland. He has experience in dealing with proceedings listed before the Court of Appeal, House of Lords and the Privy Council as well as Mediations and Adjudications. James also has an interest in solicitors’ negligence and advises clients in all areas of legal practice.
