Ian obtained a Law Degree from the University of Birmingham in 2004 and went on to complete his Legal Practice Course at the College of Law in Birmingham, passing with a Commendation. He commenced his training contract with Beale and Company in September 2005, joining the firm’s Dispute Resolution team upon his qualification in September 2007.

Ian has gained a wide experience over the last two years in a range of contentious matters and has acted for engineers, architects, surveyors and their professional indemnity insurers as well as for other firms of solicitors in a number of high value solicitor negligence claims. He also has experience of smaller value claims, debt recovery actions and mediations, as well as bringing and defending claims in adjudication and arbitration.

Ian is currently part of the Dispute Resolution team at Beale and Company who are acting on a £37.5 million claim arising out of the Wembley Stadium construction project.
