Catherine obtained a degree in History from York University and completed her CPE and LPC at the University of Northumbria. She trained at Watson, Farley & Williams and qualified as a solicitor in 2002.

Catherine has previously worked as a researcher on a high profile international product liability matter. Since qualifying as a solicitor, she has defended claims against solicitors, architects and consultant engineers, and advised their professional indemnity insurers. Catherine has also worked on a number of large construction and commercial disputes.

Catherine joined Beale & Company in 2004.
