ACE Agreements

In May the ACE are due to publish revised versions of the main ACE Agreements and produce four new Agreements. Electronic versions will be available later.
The object of the revisions has been to make the existing Agreements easier to use. There will only be one common terms of contract for Agreements A and B, with the variables to be put in various Parts. The Services Schedules will now be published separately so these can be attached as the particular commission requires. No significant changes have been made to the current obligations and liabilities except that there is to be an aggregate overall limit of liability and a default amount of ten times the fee if no amount is stated.
We assisted the ACE in preparing the revisions to these Agreements and the drafting of the new Agreements.
Details of these Agreements will follow once they have been published.
